Applications for Festival Bar Operation are now open!
St Kilda Festival is back again in 2026, taking place over one massive weekend...
Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 February!
The City of Port Phillip is seeking expressions of interest from local hospitality business operators to undertake operation of its temporary bars during the Festival.

The Festival will likely include 2 temporary bar zones at separate locations; One bar operating on the Saturday & Sunday. And an additional bar location operating on the Sunday only. This is subject to potential change and any changes will be advised in due course.
To apply:
- Applicants must be located in the City of Port Phillip (check the Victorian Electoral Map)
- Applicants must be experienced with high volume events and have the ability to undertake complete end-to-end bar management including stock, suppliers, inventory, staffing, security, POS, risk management and liquor licencing requirements.
- Applicants will be required to work with Festival to obtain relevant liquor licences
- Applicants must be willing to operate under direction of the Festival and work with preferred suppliers, including purchase of sponsor sales stock.
- A negotiable fee will be applied to any successful engagement - with the fee being defined by factors such as: the scope of successful applicant's capacities, number/ scale of site(s) etc.
Expressions of interest will be assessed against the following criteria:
- Experience with high volume events
- Capability to resource bar operations as required
- Understanding of event safety considerations
- Management of environmental impacts to site.
Successful applicants will be asked to submit a more detailed plan for assessment.
Applications close at 5pm Friday 17 October 2025.
