Community Group Applications are now open
We're looking for expressions of interest from talented local community groups to take part in St Kilda Festival 2027!
The Festival's Community Group Activation Program spotlights a brilliant list of talented community groups on Big Festival Sunday. The program is supported by Community Bank Elwood as part of its ongoing commitment to reinvesting in the local community.
We're looking for everything from talented community groups, local choirs, dance schools, performance collectives, and beyond, to submit applications to take their talents in front of the passionate St Kilda Festival crowds.
Expressions of interest close at 5 pm on Wednesday 7 October, 2026.
Please note: Only community groups based in the City of Port Phillip, or who can demonstrate a strong connection to the city, are eligible to apply for financial contributions as part of this EOI. However, community groups based outside the City of Port Phillip may still be considered for other funding opportunities (or be selected to take part in the festival separate to this EOI process) under programming discretion.
