St Kilda Festival is known as Australia’s largest community festival – a celebration of community spirit, Australian talent, and the beautiful St Kilda foreshore.
Since the first St Kilda Festival in 1980, this well-loved annual summer celebration has established itself as an iconic event that brings the community together.
In 2023 we introduced a new two-day format, which was a huge success in its inaugural year, attracting more than 375,000 live music lovers over the fun-filled weekend.
In 2024, we saw more incredible artists, big crowds, and summer celebrations over two magical days in February.
We can't wait for a mammoth festival again in 2025!
DAY 1 is a dedicated First Peoples Festival Day, with a music line up showcasing established and emerging artists from the main stage on the St Kilda beach foreshore, as well as a day of family friendly activities in O’Donnell Gardens.
DAY 2 of the Festival is a large-scale, multi-stage event showcasing more than 50 artists and bands and welcoming an audience historically in the region of 400,000, to St Kilda’s iconic foreshore area.
With over 70 artists―plus street performers, family entertainment, market stalls, local community group activations, and more― there's something for everyone at St Kilda Festival.
