Latin Street Carnaval

Agobloco is a Melbourne-based Brazilian carnival street band that performs traditional Brazilian street Carnaval music, known as marchinhas. Since 2010, the group has brought its annual parade to St Kilda Festival, recreating the high-energy and spontaneous atmosphere of Brazil’s famous street parties. With infectious rhythms, vibrant horn sections, driving drum rolls, and humorous lyrics that invite audience participation, Agobloco delivers a joyful and inclusive celebration year after year.
