Born on the banks of the Edward River in southern NSW, The Carp Factory started after a run in between two member, one and illegal fisherman setting springers, the other, a fisheries officer. The pair bonded over their love for music. After pulling another Deni boy into their racket, and adding recruits from Alice Springs and Bacchus Marsh, the Aria-Award-eligible supergroup are now riding high off the release of their maiden album ’Catch And Kill’. The highlights from the record are a pair of odds to St Kilda legends Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera and Jesse Wardlaw.
