Shag Rock

Born in the depths of the high school band room, Brisbane indie surf rock band, Shag Rock have managed - through sheer determination, skill and plenty of shenanigans - to sell out multiple national and international tours, pleasing the masses at festivals such as Splendour in The Grass, Your and Owls, Rolling Sets, Spaced Out and Le Currents, and racking up over over 120 million streams worldwide. 
 
Shag Rock has had the independent band's dream run. Since the release of their debut full-length album, Barefoot, the loveable livers of life have an ARIA Gold Record under the wing for said album, as well as ARIA Platinum Record for their single 'Sunbleached Girl'. Having toured the USA, embarked on multiple sold-out headline tours in Australia and New Zealand, the band has collected a passionately loyal fan-base. 
 
They have lodged a special place in the hearts of Australian music-lovers, and hope to edge more feels with the release of an album in 2026. After two years of working on new music and re-inventing the wheel, the comfortably dishevelled group are charged up with new singles and ready to blow the top off whatever needs its top blown off.
