Sanny Veloo makes Melbourne rock that hits with heart, grit and feel-good energy. Of multicultural heritage, born in Singapore and now based in St Kilda, his story runs from banned punk rock beginnings to sold-out shows and a fast-growing fanbase across Australia.
A Semi-Finalist in the International Songwriting Competition (Nashville), Sanny has been praised on Triple J as “Sam Fender meets Beddy Rays” and “Glorious Power Pop.” His singles A Brighter Tomorrow, Warning Signs and Love Has Set You Free have earned strong community radio support and built a loyal grassroots following.
After stepping away from music to care for his father, a powerful dream pulled him back — sparking a run of emotional, guitar-driven releases about mateship, resilience and hope. Live, Sanny is all heart and high-voltage energy, turning every set into one big communal sing-along.
Now kicking off his second Australian tour at St Kilda Festival, Sanny brings a show built for festivals, summer crowds and anyone who loves Australian rock with heart, grit and hope.
