John Wayne Parsons

John is a proud Yuggerabul and Meriam Le man, a versatile composer, producer, and performer whose music reflects a deep connection to culture and identity. His work weaves traditional Indigenous storytelling with contemporary musical expression, celebrating the stories and spiritual heritage of his Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander roots. Based in Melbourne, he also supports Indigenous students and communities through his role at the University of Melbourne.
