With dynamite vocals and fierce guitar playing, Emilee South plays charging Rock’n’Roll.
Emilee South and band released their 2017 EP, ‘Motel’, to a roaring sold-out crowd at The Gasometer, and the following years have seen them sharpen their explosive and raucous live show with official showcases at Bigsound, spots at Out On The Weekend and St Kilda Festival, as well as supporting the likes of The Teskey Brothers, Mojo Juju and Motor Ace.
South’s subsequent releases, psycho-surf hit ‘Heartbreaker’ and the fast-love single ‘Shotgun’, received acclaim from community radio and press alike, seeing airplay on Double J and Triple J, with ‘Heartbreaker’ being added to rotation on ABC Radio.
Emilee South and band head in to the studio this December to record their debut album, with the first taste due for release early 2020.
