- Stage
- Fitzroy Street Stage
- Time

What do you get when you take five ambitious and manic musicians from far-flung suburbs and country towns and lock them in an inner-city Melbourne rehearsal room? You get Creature Fear – a compelling mix of 60’s garage rock and modern atmospherics rolled into a full-bore, shoes-off sound that can still whisper sweet nothings in your ear.
Having independently released four singles recently (each earning them multiple spins on Triple J), the band has built a strong following across the East Coast of Australia due to their quirky and incredibly diverse live show.
Creature Fear have shared the stage with major acts including Killing Heidi, Ball Park Music, Kingswood, Tired Lion, The Delta Riggs and Boo Seeka. Renowned for their theatrical, leg-spasming gigs which bring back the exciting energy of a 60’s rock n roll crowd wanting to dance the night away, Creature Fear blend the manic old time fun and excitement with the sleekness of modern day music to perfection. It’s a recipe that Triple J has described as “curious greatness,” as well as being coined as one of the undiscovered “hidden gems” in the Melbourne Music Scene today.
With more music on the way, Creature Fear are proving themselves to be one to watch.
