A Wominjeka/Welcome Ceremony begins the YWN08 festival program with a procession, flotilla of sculptures, puppetry performance based on the Boon Wurrung Creation Story of the Two Bays and a message connecting catchments to the coast.

From here begins the Boon Wurrung Elders and Pelican Expeditions Two Bays forum covering the recent scientific and cultural mapping of Port Phillip Bay and Western Port Bay.
Followed by live music with Lou Bennett & the Sweetcheeks and Rory Ellis
