Iconic St Kilda

Iconic buildings like Luna Park and the Palais Theatre swim out of a haze, as though viewed in some strange reverie or parallel reality. The result is a series of images that give a new perspective on everyday scenes. The images were taken on a medium format Diana camera, one of the many formats that Wendy uses for her landscapes.

Wendy Joy Morrissey is a Melbourne-based photographer. She is known for her dream-like landscape images, and these pictures cast familiar St Kilda scenes in a surreal, unfamiliar light.
