Road Closures and Resident Permit Areas
As in previous years, a number of full and partial road closures affecting access to the St Kilda area will be in place on Festival Sunday – 14 February 2010 between the hours of 5am and midnight. Further information, road closure maps and Resident Access Permits (where applicable) will be delivered to local residents’ letterboxes in the week commencing Monday 18th January 2010.

Times: The changed traffic conditions described above will be in effect from 5am until midnight on Sunday 14 February 2010.
Getting in: The vehicle entry point into the Area 1 Permit Access Area (the pink shaded area on the map), is via Grey St, off Barkly St. The vehicle entry point into the Area 1A Permit Access Area (the pink shaded area with a yellow line around on the map), is via Carlisle St, off Barkly St. These points are controlled by licensed security officers.
Getting out: There are three main ways to exit the Permit Access Area: via Grey Street, via Carlisle Street or via all smaller streets exiting towards Barkly St.
USE YOUR PERMIT!
To make sure you have access to the Permit Area, place your Resident Access Permit on the dashboard of your car on Festival Day. Please note, this permit is a resident vehicle access pass only and not a parking permit.
