2009 St Kilda Festival Image Design Competition

Terms and Conditions

§ Entry is limited to people living, working or studying in the City of Port Phillip

§ City of Port Phillip Council (CoPP) staff or judges of this competition are not eligible to enter

§ All designs must be original artwork

§ Entrants must be the originator of the artwork

§ Entrants must register their entry before 5pm Friday 29^th August 2008 at this website

§ Artwork must be received or postmarked by the same date/ time

§ Entrants must provide the design on CD in jpeg, pdf or tiff format at around 150 dpi at A4 size by the same date to be received at:

§ Each CD must be clearly labelled with your name and phone number

§ No entries will be accepted after the closing date

§ Each competitor can submit up to four designs/ entries only

§ Each entry must be registered separately

§ Entries may not be withdrawn after September 5^th

§ The winning entry will be unique to the 2009 Festival and is not related to the organisation logo

§ The winning entrant will be required to resend their image on CD in high resolution pdf or tiff format (300 dpi at A3 size portrait) and will be expected to further develop their design with CoPP and Festival designers to final artwork

§ The St Kilda Festival and CoPP may, in consultation with the winner make modifications to the image as necessary

§ The St Kilda Festival and CoPP reserve the right, in relation to the St Kilda Festival (including beyond 2009), to use the image extensively and exclusively on various and all promotional materials, on additional products and make use of the image in perpetuity for promotional purposes at its discretion and without fees or expenses

§ St Kilda Festival and CoPP is not obliged to use any of the images entered into this competition

§ Original artwork remains the property of the entrant

§ The St Kilda Festival and CoPP will assume no rights to the use of unsuccessful entries

§ The winning entrant will be subsequently provided with an agreement noting the above terms and conditions and negotiating the licence

By submitting your entry to this competition you certify that you agree with the terms and conditions listed above, and that you are the original and sole holder of the copyright to the image that you submit, and that you have the authority to licence the usage of the image to the City of Port Phillip

Please contact the Festival office if you wish to collect your artwork. All artwork must be collected by November 30th 2008. Work left at Festival office after that date will be thrown away.
